9/9/09 // Really, what more can I say?  My mother sent me these photos – taken from her front yard in Tucson, AZ.  I am seeking more information about this sighting.

    unless my mother has become savvy with photoshop, i believe that the photo is real. the rear wheel is indeed huge.

    It looks as though someone has combined either a Metrofeits or a CETMA Cargo or perhaps an Organic Engines Long Juan with a Free Radical.

    On Clever Cycles, I’ve seen an X-tracycled Bakfeist, so I know it is possible; however, I would think that such a contraption would be so long as to be highly cumbersome.

    Oh it’s real. It has 36 inch wheels! This guy shows up on Tucson’s Tuesday Night Community Bike Rides with this bike pretty regularly. It’s beautifully made and engineered, double disc brakes front and rear, and outfitted with a sound system. Quite a machine. There’s a good photo here:
