Unicycle to Work Day
Ross + Unicycle = Fantastic
In celebration of Bike To Work Week 2009, Xtracycle inaugurated “Wack To Work Wednesday”. We celebrated WTWW09 by choosing non-bike alternates for our morning commutes to work. Ross Evans (company owner/inventor) commuted by unicycle. Watch him barely finish his morning ride to work here:

We’ll be updating you all week via our blog, www.everydayadventurers.com, facebook, twitter, flickr, YouTube and vimeo. It’ll be all Xtra, all the time.
Oh, and, keep your eyes peeled East Bay CA. We at Xtracycle will be riding a fleet of Radishes together Thursday morning, in perfect unison, to music, except not in perfect unison. Should be fun. Hats off to all who are celebrating with us.

I hope you had your insurance paid up before you tried that! Oooo, I hurt for you there a few times. You DO love wacky ideas! And EVEN CARRY THEM OUT!
That’s the best laugh I’ve had in a very, very long time.
Fantastic job guys!

PS-It’s against my rules to forward much of anything (except to family), but I’m forwarding this to my friends!
Good point, about how easy and used to it all we are.
Safety is key barrier, and comfort.

All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group (APPCG)
High numbers of journeys by bike in Denmark and Netherlands
Dutch study – 10% less work absenteeism from people who cycle to work
Big growth numbers of cyclists in Netherlands – in 70′s was action group “stop the child murder”, so many fatalities. Demanded safe facilities, all party support. Driver’s are generally liable in accident.
THIS IS NEEDED
I thought you’d got it sussed, till I saw the end!
Love

Awesome Ross!
Hey Ross your mom forwarded this. I’m so glad that someone else finds riding on one wheel challenging. Maybe yoga unicycling would help!
