  1. How about a special kit for dummy frame buyers… a deal for getting the meat of the system? It seems to cost more to build the parts up individually…!

  2. Nate says:

It’ll be on our website soon – it’s called the longtail kit, and it is just what you described–everything Xtracycle but the bike.

  3. Cool… What will it include? I have some ideas for bundles. Here’s one:

    Hauler bundle:
    V-Rack Pair
    Freeloader Pair
    Wideloader Pair
    Long Loader Single

    Friendship Bundle:
    V-Rack Pair
    Footsies Pair
    Snap Deck

    DIY Bundle:
Save xx% when you spend $yyy on core parts (deck, bags, v’s, wides)

All the separate parts of the standard kit add up to $379 so the kit price represents like 17% off ;-)

  4. Nate says:

Cool idea. We’ll consider your bundle ideas. The longtail kit includes vracks, snap deck, and freeloaders. Oh my.

  5. Cool.. the more bundle options the better. My personal bundle choices would be 2x V, 2x wide and bags. I want to make my own top deck for fun and creativity purposes. Incidentally, is there any advantage to having the deck snap on and off or is it just for the convenience of removing it? I can’t think of any reason I’d want to take it off once its installed…

  6. Stan says:

Are there going to be any UK/ Euro suppliers ?

  7. Siouxgeonz says:

Totally OT … but you’ve got pages that have a nice graphic of “worldbike” … but the text link is to http://www.xaccess.org which gets ya nowhere.

  8. Flo says:

    @MEC in Hamilton

it makes sense that the snapdeck is removable, for example to get to the rear brakes.

  9. peter says:

If you make your own really nice snap deck, it’s nice to have a janky one to trade in when the weather gets nasty.

  10. I guess making it snap on and off would be good for my idea as well actually… I’d like to have a solar panel on one side and a firm seat on the other. can’t early march get here any faster!!?

  11. Hey — the new kit bundles look great!
